This Saturday – Fun for All at the Corn, Tomato and Beer Festival

Corn, Tomato and Beer Festival

After months of planning, it’s finally here – the Corn, Tomato and Beer Festival on Saturday, which promises to be a fun-filled afternoon for people of all ages. Set aside some special time for you and your family to enjoy a whirlwind of activities from noon to 8 p.m. on Stangl Road, which will be closed to traffic the entire festival.

This is your chance to sample some of the freshest corn and tomatoes in the area, not to mention ice cold beer from local craft breweries in addition to music, kid’s games, magicians, a drone race and so much more.

The festival is free, except for a few activities that require a $5 donation to benefit Flemington’s Fire Department.

Kids’ highlights : A petting zoo; rock climbing wall; rides on ponies, trains and the antique fire truck, “Betsy”; a Ninja Warrior Course with TV’s Meiling Huang; the Paw Patrol Meet & Greet; a bounce house, and a police dog demo. Some activities are free but admission to the Kids’ Zone area, where a number of events are held, is by a $5 donation. Train rides aboard “Corn and Tomato Special” on Black River and Western Railroad are free for children 12 and under, details here:
