Eat, drink, be merry – and dance – on Saturday night in downtown Flemington, and it’s all for a good cause.
Get into the Latin swing with free dancing lessons in the street while Flemington’s historic courthouse lights up the summer sky on Salsa Night, July 21, from 4 to 10 p.m. This is your chance to sample food from around the world as well as some of the best sangria made … and all kinds of sweet treats.
The event promises to be a night to remember and benefits Hunterdon Helpline and its Hunterdon Hispanos division, which has a free call center 24-7, 365 days a year offering telephone reassurance as well as literacy, work and senior programs.
So, take this one day of the year to help Hunterdon Helpline out and join a wall of dancing feet, grooving to the sounds of the meringue, salsa and cha cha cha. Be a Latin lover for the night – and make yourself proud. (For information, call 908-782-4357 or visit helplinehc.org.)
