For Let’s Sit Together: Flemington Community Partnership’s
Art Chair Project Coming This Summer
The Flemington Community Partnership invites artists everywhere to participate in Let’s Sit Together, Flemington, an exciting and unique new public art project sponsored by the Flemington business community. This community-based public art exhibit, set to open this summer, will invite visitors, residents, friends and neighbors to sit together on original, hand-painted Adirondack chairs and benches that will be strategically placed throughout Flemington Borough.
Approximately 30 professional and amateur artists will be commissioned to hand paint and embellish the chairs into one-of-a-kind, beautiful works for all to enjoy on a year-round basis. Individual businesses will also have the opportunity to commission additional chairs.
Two informational sessions for artists, schools, and other groups will be held at Flemington DIY located at 90 Main St, Flemington on Thursday, March 22th, 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday, April 10th, at 7:30 p.m. For more info, please contact Nicole Maniez firstname.lastname@example.org.
